Abstract: This paper presents a simple Method of typhoon track prediction with use of shallow water equation.A simple yet effective scheme of initialization was introduced.In the year of 1982 a total of 15 typhoons were investigated with this method. It turned out that th.6 method was passably capable of predicting storm tracks in case of eitheir western Pacific typhoons or South China Sea typhoons.
