1978年4月西南太平洋天气尺度云带的流场特征

摘要: 西南太平洋经常存在着一支天气尺度云带。国外的研究成果以及我们根据1976—1978年三年卫星云图资料统计的结果表明,4月份这支云带频率的最高值在斐济群岛南部经所罗门群岛到伊里安岛西部一线(图略)。这支云带的南北跨度很大,最北可达5°S以北,最南可达40°S以南。云带活跃时可造成大范围的强烈降水和大风等灾害性天气现象。因而,对于这支云带的活动是应该进行研究的。但由于云带附近的资料较少,目前国内外对于这支云带的专题论述尚少。为了增强对它的了解,我们利用1978年热带天气图、卫星云图、卫星测风以及飞机报等资料对Abstract: In this paper, the streamline field features of Southwest Pacific Ocean synoptic scale cloud zone in April 1978 were preliminarily analysis and obtained suchas results: once there cold high in Australia, the cloud zone is apt to strengthen, the different position and strength of the subtropic high of both Southern and Northern hemispheres have different effects on the cloud zone.It thence appears that this cloud zone was mainly offected by the above three synoptic systems.
