Abstract: The relation, in this paper, between month mean sea surface temperature along the Peru coast and the Northern Hemisphere 500 mb geopotential height, and the temperature in Heilongjiang province have been analysed. The results show that the sea surface temperature along the Peru coast affects the geopotential height at low and middle latitude obviously, and also show the corresponding relation between El Nino and the microtherm in Heilongjiang provice. These results are very significant for the forecasting of the summer microtherm in Heilongjiang province.
