夏季西北太平洋副热带高压变化和中纬度西风指数变化之间的相关分析
RELATION ANALYSIS BETWEEN VARIATION OF NORTHWEST PACIFIC SUBTROPICAL ANTICYCLONE AND WESTERLIES INDEX IN MIDLATITUDE FOR SUMMER

摘要: 本文计算60—140°E范围内40—50°N(45°N)逐日西风指数变化与25—35°N范围内120°E、130°E、140°E次日高度变化的单相关。结果表明,在靠近西北太平洋副高活动的主体部分(即130°E、140°E)高度变化与西风指数变化不存在相关,说明互相具有独立性。在边缘地区(120°E),两者之间有一定关系。分析表明,副高的变化与中纬度西风指数变化之间的关系是比较复杂的,大体上有两种情况,一种是变化相反,一种是耦合,因此,北半球夏天期间,利用西风带系统变化来推测副高的变化趋势是不合适的。Abstract: This paper has computed single relation between the variation of westerlies index day by day in 60- 140°E.40- 50°N(45°N) range and the variation of qeopotenti’al height next day in 120°E.130°E, 140°E for 25-35°N range. The result shows that there existed no relation between the variation in near past (130°E, 140°E) of main body for northwest Pacific subtropical anticyclone and the westerlies index. On the contrary, it shows that they are independent of each other and have regular relation in edge region (120°E). Analysis shows that the relation between the variations of the subtropical anticyclone and the midlatitude westerlies index may be quite complex. Roughly speaking, there are two cases.One is contrary variation, and the other is coupledvariation. Therefore it is improper using the variation of system in westrlies to pr-edict the variation tendency of subtropical anticyclone.
