Abstract: The objective description of meteorological fields is one of the important questions on objective and quantitative forecast and diagnostic analysis In this paper, the meaning of the first eight Chebyshev's coefficients have been explained with the typical and simple fields expanded by Chebyshev polynomial. Then, having compared with actual weather charts,we find all of the first eight Chebyshev 's coefficients are available for the objective description of meteorological fields.
