Abstract: Based on statistical correlation analysis, we find that the difference of south and north geopotential hight anomaly at 500 hPa in OCT. NOV. DEC.will be related to the rainfall for May-June in Yunnan Province next year.Due to the analysis mentioned above, we have chosen four factors and set up some statistical forecasting eqnations.The historical fitting rates are quite high and applied results from new samples are satisfied.Finally, the influence of circulatiational features for May-June on the rainfall in same time and predicted action of the factors were discussed.
