切变流场中惯性重力内波的发展
DEVELOPMENT OF INTERNAL INERTIA GRAVITY WAVES IN SHEARING BASIC CURRENTS

摘要: 假定背景流场为缓变的平行切变流,扰动沿基本流方向是均匀的;用WKBJ方法求解Boussinesg近似下的线性化重力波方程组,根据波作用量守恒原理,研究了流场非均匀性对重力波发展的影响。Abstract: By applying WKBJ method to a linearized Boussinesq system of two dimensions in the Y-Z plane, a generalized conservative wave action density of the gravity waves in a nonuniformly stratified fluid with shearing basic current was derived. And the effects of the nonuniform structures (e. g. jet type patterns) of the basic current on the development of the gravity waves were stressed based on the development equation of the gravity waves obtained from the wave action conservation principle.The results showed that the jet type structure in basic current favors the development of the gravity waves propagting horizontally towards the right hand side of the jet (facing downstream of the jet).
