热带500百帕动能的基本特征与季节变化——南、北半球的比较

摘要: 本文利用1980—1988年30°S—30°N的风场资料,计算了逐日的平均动能,涡动动能及相互转换和波数域动能;并分析了南、北半球热带对流层中层动能的演变特征,季节调整规律,指出了热带与中高纬动能的差异。Abstract: In this paper, day-to-day zonal mean kinetic energy, eddy kinetic energy and their interactive conversion, and zonal wavenumbers are computed, using wind field data for 30°S-30°N from 1980-1988. The paper also discusses the evolution characteristics of the kinetic energy at midtroposphere for the tropics of both southern and northern hemispheres and the rules governing seasonal adjustments of the kinetic energy. The difference in Kinetic energy between the tropics and middle-and-higher latitudes is pointed out.
