与厄尔尼诺有关的北半球100hPa大气环流异常
THE NORTHERN HEMISPHERE 100hPa ATMOSPHERIC CIRCULATION ANOMALY RELATED TO EL NINO

摘要: 研究了北半球100hPa冬季遥相关现象。指出,北半球冬季100hPa存在PNA流型,它的波列与500hPa流型很接近。当厄尔尼诺发展到盛期(冬季)时,100hPa出现强PNA型,这种对应关系比500hPa好些。此外,还研究了厄尔尼诺发生、发展各阶段的100hPa低纬风场以及100hPa春、夏、秋、冬四季平均环流异常特征,发现在厄尔尼诺发生年春季,100hPa高度比反厄尔尼诺年大范围偏低;发生前的冬季也有此明显特征,利用这些结果对1991─1992年的厄尔尼诺现象作了诊断。Abstract: In this paper the northern winter 100hPa teleconnection patterns are studied, discovering that there exists a PNA flow pattern at 100hPa in northern winter with its wave train quite similar to that of the 500hPa flow pattern. When El Nino is at the prime of the season (in winter), a vigorous PNA pattern occurs at 100hPa at better corresponding rate than at 500hPa. In addition,studies are made of the 100hPa tropical wind field for the stages of El Nino formation and development and the mean circulation anomaly at 100hPa in the four seasons (spring、summer、autummand winter).revealing that in the spring of El Nino years,the 100hPa height is lower over a large area than in the La Nina years; similar significant features are seen in preceding winters. The results are used to diagnose the El Nino events in 1991-1992.
