台湾附近地形对台风影响的数值模拟
NUMERICAL SIMULATION STUDY ON THE EFFECTS OF TAIWAN TERRAIN ON TYPHOON DOT

摘要: 利用TCM-90资料分析并用数值方法成功地模拟了9017号台风(Dot)经过台湾时发生复杂变化的过程,包括环流场副中心和高度场副中心形成及与其主中心的合并过程、环流中心合并时路径跳跃过程、台湾西侧低压中心异常北移过程、台湾海峡低层急流变化过程以及上下层高度中心与环流中心明显偏离的现象。并详细分析了模拟中每隔3小时的演变过程,给出了台风经过台湾前后的结构及详细的路径变化。这种详细的演变图像不可能从间隔6小时的常规观测中得出。最后,通过多个对比试验,分析了各特性变化的原因及机制。Abstract: TCM-90 data and numerical simulation were used to study the feature chandges of Typhoon Dot encountering Taiwan,including the formation of secondary centers of circulation and geopotential fields,the combination of main centers with secondary centers,the abruptly change of tracks in combination of circulation centers,the abnormal northward movement of the low in west edge of Taiwan,and the strait jei,etc.3-hour simulation results were analysed which is imposible to have in the observation.Finally,the mechanisms of the feature changes were investigated through control experiments.
