Abstract:
A linear model is developed and used to study the inertia-gravity waves excited by convection and heating sources.The effects of initial vertical velocity preturbation,initial potential temperature perturbation and heating sources in the atmosphere on the excitation of inertia-gravity wave is investigated respectively.The effects of inertia gravity wave disturbances on the envionment atmosphere are also discussed.The results of this study may be of significace in understanding the generation and development of meso-and micro-scale disturbances and the interaction between the convection process and the environment atmosphere.
