异模式嵌套作中期数值预报的试验
THE PRIMARY NUMERICAL EXPERIMENT FOR MID RANGE FORECAST WITH NESTING OF TWO DIFFERENT MODELS

摘要: 利用一个全球谱模式和一个有限区域细网格模式,作了异模式嵌套的初步试验。对异模式嵌套的方案流程,细网格模式边界值更新的时间间隔及细网格模式的起步时间作了初步研究,发现无论采用物理量本身还是其倾向值作衔接,效果均不错;边界值更新的时间间隔既不宜太长,也不宜太短,粗细网格同时起步或用粗网格模式12小时的预报场作为细网格模式的初始场,两者预报的结果基本一致。Abstract: The primary numerical experiment on nesting two different models was done using a global spectral model and a limited fine mesh model. In the paper, we have primarily studied the scheme flow for nesting the two different models, the time separation in changing the lateral boundary variate of the limited fine mesh model and the starting time of the limited fine mesh model. we find that using the variate or the tendency of the variate is both useful as nesting ways;that the time separated for changing the lateral boundary value of limited fine mesh model must neither be too long nor too short;and that the two models starting at the same time with the same initial data or adopting the 12 hour forecast result of the global spectral model as the initial data of the limited fine mesh model are giving the basically the same result.
