桂东南热带气旋大风的统计特征及典型个例研究
A STUDY ON THE GALE EVENTS CAUSED BY TROPICAL CYCLONES IN SOUTH-EASTERN GUANGXI

摘要: 利用1981~2000年热带气旋(以下简记TC)年鉴资料、广西东南部大风实况资料和NCEP/NCAR再分析资料,对桂东南TC大风及TC特征进行统计分析,并通过个例普查和典型个例的研究对造成桂东南严重风灾的原因进行初步探讨。研究表明:造成桂东南大风TC发生在6~10月,主要源地是西北太平洋,但造成严重风灾的TC为登陆后中心经过桂东南的南海台风。桂东南大风以局地瞬时大风为主,大风发生时间与TC距离有关。强度大、移速快造成变压梯度大,与气压梯度共同作用是0307号TC过程大风的原因;移速慢,登陆后中心在桂东南逗留时间长则是8517号TC过程严重风灾的原因,并对两个TC运动特点不同的大尺度环境特征进行了比较分析。Abstract: Using the Yearbook on Tropical Cyclones(TCs) and some other observational records from 1981 to 2000 the statistics of strong wind events caused by TCs in the southeastern Guangxi has been presented in this paper.Our results have demonstrated that the southeastern part of Guangxi can be influenced by TCs frequently.The TCs causing strong winds in Southeastern Guanxi usually migrate from the northwest of Pacific from Jun.to Oct.However,the typhoons that grew up in the South China Sea and got through Yulin often caused severe strong winds in this region.The typical influences of the strong wind events are instant and local.The time when gale winds affect the Southeastern Guanxi is related to the distance from Yulin to the center of the TC.The reason why TC Imbudo(0307) caused severe gale is that the TC was strong in intensity and fast in its moving speed.Another TC Winona(8517) moved slowly.It stayed in the southeastern part of Guangxi for a long period of time after its landfall.So the gale had been there for a long period,too.Some large-scale features of the background circulation of these two TCs are presented in this paper by using the NCEP/NCAR reanalysis.
