Abstract: We intend to make a multivariate statistical analysis on the effective-ness of random experiments of artificial rainfall in Fujian Gutian reser-voir for ten years(1975-1984).We have made 228 randomized experiments during the ten years, 113 of which were seeded. The results of the statistical are: relative increased rainfall 24-16% and absolute increased rainfall 1.24mm/3hr in average,The result of analysis points out that because there exist internal physical relations between the selected factors and natural precipitation, the reliability of the result analysis of artificial rainfall can be raised, and the experiment period reduced. Meanwhile, this method makes it easy to select powerful seeding conditions, refrains blindness and improve the result of artifical rainfall.
