Abstract: Based on linear correlation techniques, the SST changes due to two categories of processes have been discussed. The first one acts through the ocean surface such as latent heat transfer and sensible heat transfer which induce the change of the heat storage in the oceanic mixed layer. The second process acts whthin the water mass. The results show that two processes a relatively significant role in the SST changes.
