准40天振荡现象研究中的一个问题
A PROBLEM IN THE STUDY OF QUASI-40 DAYS OSCILLATION

摘要: 本文用欧洲中期天气预报中心客观分析资料计算了850、200百帕层候平均位势高度(H)和西风分量(u)的谐波以及准40天振荡能量的时、空分布。结果表明,同一要素准40天振荡能量的空间分布存在明显的年际差异,它不能简单地归因于某种外部强迫。有必要对准40天振荡现象的气候学作深入分析。Abstract: Objectively analyzed data from ECMWF are used to determine mean geopotential heights (H) at 850 and 200 hPa and harmonics of the westerly component (u) as well as the temporal and spacial distribution of the quasi-40 days oscillation energy. The result shows a significant in-terannual difference in the spacial distribution of quasi-40 days oscillation for a particular element,which cannot be simply attributed to external forcing. Further analyses are needed of the climatological aspect of the quasi-40 days oscillation.
