Abstract: Scaling with selected values of real atmosphere, the existence and solution of the nondispersive periodic solution are achieved concering nonlinear baroclinic Rossby wavea of a baroclinic semi-geostrophic model. The number of dimensionless emstrophy can be described nonlinear characteristic wave. Therefore, the wave velocity expression is proposed with some diagnostic relations among the wave parameters.
