Abstract:
First of all, cloudiness distribution is statistically analysed for summer average within a model domain. A cloud-radiative computational model is then introduced to a limited regional model for comparison of three cloudiness parameterization schemes. As a result, the scheme as described in this paper is suggested, which includes relative humidity and vertical velocity, and simulations with different schemes are presented.According to the result, the cloudiness distribution and climatic elements it reproduced is the most realistic, indicating that it reflects the feedback of clouds in climate system. It is appropriate to use different schemes for different regional models.Any increase in cloudiness will lead to falling of diurnal mean surface temperature.
