Abstract: Cloud top temperature of typhoon cloud system were computed and analysed using collected digital sets of typhoon H infrared cloud image. The results show that a set of distributed cloud top temperature of cloud system structure can be used to recognize typhoon. An objective method of locating typhoon was built on the personal computer.This method was used to forecast Typhoon 9414、9417、9418 and 9430 which affected Zhejiang province and results were good.
