Abstract: A filtering/extracting scheme for various timescale processes in the short range climate model output is established by using the scale scattering method. And the climatological meaning as well as the importance of the filtered series are discussed. Finally the effectiveness of the filtering method and the performance of the prediction model are analyzed through a real case.
