卫星双通道揭示的Walker环流活动特征及其与我国夏季降水关系初探

摘要: 利用1975~1995年HIRS-Tb12和OLR资料分析了热带地区Walker环流的气候特征,结果表明:Walker环流上升、下沉支具有各自"不同"的强度演变特征及位置的东、西向季节性振荡现象;此外,通过构造一些指数对Walker环流进行了多方面的描述,分析了其在ENSO事件冷、暖位相时的差异情况,进而分析了它与我国夏季雨型的关系。

Abstract: Based on 1979~1995 monthly upper level water vapor (6.7μm) brightness temperature (HIRS-Tb12) and OLR satellite data, the climatic characteristics of tropical Walker circulation and its relationship of summer rainfall pattern has been studied. We develop some new index of Walker cell such as intensity, average location and extension. The results show that the seasonal change of the ascending and descending branch of Walker cell are different, especial in ENSO phase. In this paper, we also study possible relationship of index of Walker cell and the summer rainfall pattern of China. -
